Tubular breasts? i was reading online an article about something and it was saying how women get 'tubular breasts' how and why does this happen? |
| sometimes herniation exists of breast tissue into the nipple areola and or inadequate development of the inferior half of the breast . |
Tubular breasts? I've had a few people tell me I might have Tubular breasts. I've looked at the tubular breast shape and it does look pretty much like mine. The only thing is that I'm a C cup and I've only seen tubular breasts come in small A/B sizes. Can a woman with C cup breasts have tubular breasts? |
| I actually went to this one website along time ago and many women talked about having tubular breasts. I think it's no problem but if it really bothers you and hurts your self-esteem then it is a problem. To answer your question, yes a women with c cup breasts can have tubular breasts. Surgery can correct it and with it you will be more firmer and with a better shape and all, and hopefully happy also. I have learned that many women actually have them, even though some won't admit it so don't worry you're not the only one out there. Good look. Oh also, some bras might help you out with this situation. |
Does anyone know what the minimal age for getting surgerical correction of tubular breasts is? I'm under 18 and suffering from tubular breasts. I was wondering if anyone knew what the minimal age for getting a surgery to correct them would be? |
What age are you and what country are you from?
If the shape is really quite severe and getting you mentally down, you can get it done on the NHS for free (with a 2-3 year waiting list) but if you are in the USA 'm not so sure.... |
I was wondering if breast enhancement pills could correct tubular breasts? I am 20 years old and very self conscious about my tubular breasts, since breast surgery is very expensive, I am a student, so I really can't afford it, I was curious as to if breast enhancement pills would help in correcting my problem. |

What exactly is a tubular breasts? and does it carry through genes? im 13. ive got my period, but no boobs. my nipples are not pointy they are round, and i think i have "tubular" breasts. i dont want them. is it rare? is it through from genes from parents?? im afraid to ask my mom, or go to a doctor. |
If you don't actually have breast tissue development yet, you don't have tubular breasts... you are flat chested. At 13 it's natural to obsess over your breasts, but obsess over the ones you have;)
Tubular breasts are not at all rare: the normal female breast has a lot of varied shapes, and tubular (unrounded, pointy, and tending to point down) is a common one. Breast type does tend to run in families, so if a lot of women in your family have them, you may be more inclined to it. They can be plumped up with surgery later in life if it really bugs you, but it's not at all abnormal, and it won't keep you from being attractive to boys or breastfeeding.
Your breasts still have several years to go before they stop developing. I was in your shoes at 13, and then went up to a C cup. So try not to stress. |
Has any girl ever had tubular breasts when they were a teen, but then they filled out, looked normal later on? I just want to know because I'm 14 and I have looked up why my breasts look weird. Apparently they look exactly like tubular breasts. People tell me that I should wait til I'm 18 or 21 to know my final breast size because they say that I will most likely fill out but I just want to know if anyone that has had tubular breasts when they were in the middle of puberty and they filled out when they got older (like 18 or older). |
| No they won't fill out. Its a condition that can be fixed by a small breast lift...depending on how severe they are. If they are really small you'll probably need implants and a lift. If they are a decent size then you'll only need a little breast lift. |
Can tubular breasts still grow? I am seventeen, got my period at twelve, there is no one with small breasts in my family and yet I suspect my breasts are indeed tubular because they are very small and the areolas and nipples sort of stick out. If I push them in with my fingers, my breasts seem to have a tiny hint of roundness. My main question, however, is: Can they still grow if they are tubular? |
not likely. And it really sucks...I know, I have the same condition. Only surgery can correct it. My husband is scared for me to get the surgery, but I will one of these days. And be forewarned...one day when you have a baby, you most likely will not produce milk. A woman with tuberous breasts usually doesn't have enough milk glands for breastfeeding.
And if you gain weight, they may grow some. But the proportions will always be weird. Sorry. |
Is there anyway to fix tubular breasts defomirty without surgery? Like maybe wearing a bra all the time or something? |
Nope, I have them.
No pills will work or anything like that..
Wearing a bra doesn't even make a difference.. well not with me anyway.
Surgery is the only way..
even going on birth control makes NO difference at all to them.. tried it before.
I've tried getting surgery on the NHS but they won't let me until I'm 21 because of growing..
which is unfair, I'm 18 this year and I don'tsee how I'm gonna grow anymore if I have breast hypoplasia lol.. and I don't think they even looked into my case properly.. like how it is emotionally plus the major physical appearance issue.
Like I say to others who have this condition and want to apply for surgery.. ignore what people say about 'don't get surgery, natural is better' or 'appreciate what you've got' blah blah blah,.. well personally I don't know how much or if it affects you (thats if this question is on your behalf) but IMO I cannot and never will accept the way they are.. I see them as being a deformity/abnormality. I can't accept it. |
Is it possible for a 14 year old to have tubular breasts? okay, so my breasts haven't noticeably developed in two years (i'm still the same size as i was when i was 12), so i was looking online to see if that was normal. i saw this thing called tubular breasts and they look exactly like my boobs!!! is it possible that i have them? |
Since you are so young, they could easily grow out of this stage.
Mine were a strange shape until they filled out later in high school.
Don't worry about it for now.
See a doctor if you get any aching in your pelvis that may indicate your period is trying to get out but is blocked by your hymen. |
