What are some mest up and wierd movies you have watched?
I have seen the human centipede and teeth, what are some screwed up movies you guys have watched?
All of these are either really weird or extremely messed up.

In order of least disturbing to most disturbing (in my opinion):

Brazil
Drowning by Numbers
Delicatessen
Donnie Darko
Naked Lunch
Eraserhead
Lost Highway
Mulholland Dr.
Requiem for a Dream
Oldboy
A Clockwork Orange
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
Audition
Ichi the Killer
Cannibal Holocaust
Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom
What are some crazy, screwed up psychological-esque movies to watch?
Like Mysterious Skin, Hard Candy (heard that was a mind screw) etc... movies that are almost too hard to watch and completely screw with your head
A Clockwork Orange -Directed by Stanley Kubrick, starring Malcolm McDowell, about a group of thug teens that are mentally insane. They rape, steal, pillage, and defy their parents.

Requiem of a Dream -Starring the gorgeous Jennifer Connelly and Jerod Leto, about drugs and life.

Basketball Diaries -Starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Mark Wahlberg, about normal guys getting their life ruined by drugs.

Natural Born Killers -Starring Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis, about serial killers, drugs, and the media.

Donnie Darko -An all-star cast including Drew Barrymore, Noah Wiley, Patrick Swayze, about mental illness, time travel and love.

Reservoir Dogs -Starring Steve Buscemi, Harvey Keitel, about criminals, torture, death, and a foiled robbery.

Pulp Fiction -Another all-star cast including John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, about drugs, death, crime and unusal relationships.

That should give you a start...these movies left an impression on me
and some left me thinking "what just happened?" and "Whoa!".

Happy viewing!

Sonny Boy (1989)~Are YOU ready for David Carradine in a dress?! // From IMDb: Star Brad Dourif once referred to the movie as "the first real heavy-metal fable." Dourif admitted that he didn't understand the movie yet he was drawn to its strangeness.

I'm not quite sure what you might want, so I might be offbase with these.
Demented/screwed up movies?
I want to watch an extremely ****** up movie any ideas?
Visitor Q
August Underground
Man Bites Dog

Wasn't Pan's Labyrinth one of the most screwed up movies that you've ever seen?
That is one effed up movie.
Are you guys mad. Pan's Labyrinth was one of the BEST movies I have ever seen. It carries a lot of symbolism. For example, the pale men (the guy with the hands on his head) was very necessary and is symbolism that some people just don't understand. Instead they mistake this for stupidity or overexaggeration etc. So my advice would be to watch the movie again but to look deeper at the significance and meaning rather than watching it superficially.
What is the most screwed up movie you've seen?
Like really dark and disturbing.
The Exorcist is freaky. I haven't ever seen the whole thing just bits and pieces. I almost started screaming it's so weird.

Did Star Wars turn out as a screwed up movie franchise?
As popular as the whole Star Wars sega is, it has to be one of the most screwed up movies at the same time.
First, it starts off at Part 4 then goes forward, then back to the beginning.
The character and technology development is half-a$$ backwards and wasn't even planned as each new Star Wars film was made as that can seen in character like Luke and Leia kissing each other, then end up being brother and sister and then the technology and look of the ships and weapons and vehicles look more advanced in the first parts of the series which are actually earlier in the story timetable..
The movie makers, instead of looking at the actual story and characters of the movie, now only looked at how great of special FX they can come up with turning live actors into animation.

Characters like Luke and Han were fun to watch and even had a sense of humor to their chracters. As the newer films were made, the characters were boring and at times even arrogant. I started cheering for the Sith characters after awhile because the Jedi seemed a bit tasking to tolerate to watch.

Then out of all the different Star Wars movies, one of the most important parts of the series, the part showing Darth Vader developing his own Empire and first Death Star and the early lives of the first main characters such as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia is never shown in the movie series. It may be mentioned in books and fan websites but not on the actual movie series.

Then as big as Star Wars is in the geeky tech world, it isn't even available on Blue-Ray.
Granted, that the original films weren't filmed in Blue-Ray,so weren't many other older films that are available on BR, but have advanced sound and features.
You'd think a so-called high grossing sci-fi movie series would be available in many formats as possible.

Star Wars, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of The Jedi, should of been called Parts 1, 2 and 3 and stopped because after that, the only focus on the movie was about money.
The irony is that the first original 3 movies were the best, but required less special FX and cost less to make than the ones to follow.
Ignorance is a very poor substitute for knowledge. Your question & the sad answers it has gotten show a tremendous amount of ignorance & absolutely no knowledge of the subject matter. First it's the Star Wars SAGA not SEGA ... one is an obsolete game system and the other is a masterpiece of film making. Second, "Darth Vader developing his own Empire and first Death Star" ... ummm ... it was NEVER "Darth Vader's Empire" ... Darth Vader was second in command of the Empire behind Emperor Palpatine. All the rambling Anakin did before the duel with Obi-Wan in ep III was just what he wanted to do but after the injuries he sustained in the duel forced him to wear the "suit" to stay alive he was not powerful enough to unseat Palpatine as he so arrogantly proclaimed in ep III. Third, and good GOD this is one of the most inaccurate things I've ever heard said about Star Wars and film making in general. "that the original films weren't filmed in Blue-Ray" ... no film has EVER been "filmed in Blu-Ray" ... more points off for not knowing how to spell something ... and NEVER will be because Blu-Ray has not one single thing to do with how the movie was "filmed". Blu-Ray tech involves the conversion from analog to digital pictures. If a movie is filmed entirely by digital cameras it is much easier to put out in Blu-Ray format because that conversion is a small thing. Guess what was the first movie to EVER be filmed entirely with digital cameras ... ep III. That means it would be very easy to put out in Blu-Ray format but Lucas hasn't done that yet ... ever wonder why ... it's actually a very simple answer ... it's because Lucas knows what everyone else in Hollywood knows ... Blu-Ray is a dead format. The advantages of better sound & picture are only seen if you have the proper Hi-Def equipment. That means if you want to enjoy the "benefits" of Blu-Ray you have to go out and buy all new "stuff" ... kind of a VERY serious design flaw. The only reason that Blu-Ray is still around is the tie in with the PS3 & the 7 year exclusive contract that Sony signed with the porn industry to put out all their "new stuff" on Blu-Ray. When that contract expires in a few more years you can kiss Blu-Ray goodbye.

As for the "plot holes" you try to point out ... a little knowledge of the SW story would have answered most of them before you even lowered yourself to the level of point them out. You are right on one thing ... the story seems to have been made up "on the fly" because IT WAS. All Lucas had to start out with was a huge story outline ... no books to make the movies from ... no real "scripts" or anything. When ep IV was released Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader were still two completely different characters not one. It was when Lucas decided to make that change that the story line went askew. Hell he didn't even make Luke & Leia siblings until he was writing the script for the final duel between Vader & Luke. Lucas was stumped on what he could have Vader say that would cause him to attack his father in a dark side fueled rage. To solve that problem he made Leia the "other Skywalker" and had Vader threaten her. Your statement "the technology and look of the ships and weapons and vehicles look more advanced in the first parts of the series which are actually earlier in the story timetable" is actually true but it was done for a reason and that reason wasn't bad plot development. It was done to contrast the Republic and the Empire. The Republic was a grand society filled with all the little things that made life "great". The Empire was a totalitarian dictatorship that didn't care about looks just functionality. The Jedi Order was made to seem "boring and at times even arrogant" for a REASON. That reason was to show that the order had grown seemingly "stale & aloof" to the general public even though that is not what was really going on. It made it much easier for Palpatine to sell his "the Jedi tried to take over and I stopped them" spiel to the general public.

I could go on and on with all the mistaken views you have about this iconic movie SAGA but what's the use ... your mind is made up and you're not even open to thinking that you might be wrong ... VERY wrong with how you are seeing it. You are welcome to your opinion as is everybody but an opinion not backed up with anything that even comes close to resembling the facts of the matter is worthless.

May The Force Be With You ...
