If you might remember there was a popular music site, that realized that they could make more money doing it right, than skirting the law. Any way, where people get into real trouble is when the FBI gets involved. Get hauled into criminal court and have to pay huge fines. Also, many of these sites are off the USA's coast. So proper law enforcement can't be completed. By the time it is, the site owner is long gone. |
