Why did a photographer get credit for this shot? It must have been taken by the stadium's camera, not his? sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multime…
the camera must have been installed by the team or the stadium to catch a shot like that (in the net) so why would one photographer get the credit for it. |
It would not be unusual for a camera to be remotely triggered like this at a professional sports event in an arena, especially ice hockey. The photographer wouldn't have to have had a video feed and was probably taking the shot either off of instinct or, more likely, burst mode. The photo could have been transmitted to a capture device via wifi.
According to the credit he is a Getty photographer which puts him in an elite group. |
Sites include galleries of nudism at nude beaches and locker rooms? this sites says that there are hidden cameras , is it true that people in these galleries dont know , i feel they are actors and photographers got thier permision before using cameras . |
| That is called exploitation and is meant as pornography. Those sites present this as sexual material and some even present it as nudism. Don't believe it. Real nudism isn't about sex and those sites just make people think that. |
Windows live photo gallery issue? okay so i was importing videos and pictures from my camera into windows live photo gallery. i watched it as it uploaded, which took forever because i took some 3-4 minutes videos. anyways, when i opened up the gallery, none of my videos were there, it was just my pictures. and when everything was uploading i pressed "delete after importing", so i cant get the videos back from my camera. i really want these videos, any idea of where they may be hiding?? |
OK chances are the videos are on your computer and safe. Let me explain something for you...
Not all videos are compatible with windows or apple computers. Chances are the file are in the same directory as the pictures...but your operating system has no idea how to use them.
Locate the folder your pictures are saved in and you should see the video files.....now look at the extension of the file...for example video.flv wil be a FLV extension.
You just need to simply convert the file to work with your operating system...for example lets say you have windows...you will want to convert your FLV file to AVI or WMV.
Visit this site and download a free file converter...type this into the search if you are looking for a FLV to AVI for example..........FLV to AVI converter free at this link below
download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.htm…
Once downloaded...simply convert the video and you will be able to view it on your computer.

Is there any app to hide iphone photos? I recently got the verizon iphone four and i love the camera, but my dad wants to borrow my phone sometimes and I want to be able to take pictures without the fear of him looking through them, so I was just wondering if there was an app where I could keep my photos instead of in my built in photo gallery. It doesn't need to be protected or anything, just a secondary storage unit. |
| You can try this app, Camera Plus Pro, has a secondary library, called the quick Roll, You can move all your private photos from the Camera Roll into this app. And also password protect your photos. This way better since, it doesn't scream "Private Photos Here!!!!" that would just make anyone curious rite? Try it, great app, lets you do tons of fun stuff to your photos too! |
Some questions about Samsung galaxy S? First of all, when I use samsung swype and it suggests a couple of words, and I don't choose the first word it will pop up a "tip" about a hidden word that was added to my swype dictionary previously. It does this however all the time and I don't want the tip to pop up since it is annoying. How do I stop it from doing this?
Second of all, I would like to know in which directory my pictures that I took with the camera on the mobile phone are stored. I can find them in the gallery on my mobile phone, but when I want to transfer them to my computer (using mass storage) I can't find in which directory they are saved. I always make screenshots of the pictures I want on my PC because I do know where the screenshot directory is, but this is not a very easy method. |
There is a very good Swype tutorial pre-loaded in the phone -
SETTINGS --> ABOUT PHONE --> SYSTEM TUTORIAL
Also you can change many of the Swype settings in--
SETTINGS--> LOCALE AND TEXT --> SWYPE
The "Word choice window " setting is the one you need, it has a sliding scale to adjust the frequency of the suggestions.
I have to say, I also am slightly confused at the way the GS saves pics, there does not seem to be any logic to it?
I usually just USB the contents and have a look at the folder contents using Windows explorer.
Additional Details
I understand what you mean, it's not something I have experienced on mine.
I can only suggest that you play around with the settings to try and turn it off or do the tutorial the whole way through, I'm pretty sure that is covered in there somewhere.
Sorry :-( |
Help - Printing Pixels on Canvas Wrap? I had a photo that I really liked printed as a 12x15, but it came out slightly pixelated in the clouds. It was taken a few years back with a 6.1 megapixel camera (how outdated!).
I'm in touch with a local art gallery that would like to hang this photo, so I need it to look gallery perfect. I was thinking of using a gallery wrap on canvas. Will printing the picture on canvas hide the pixelation? It's not terribly bad on pixels, but I can see a few in the lighter section of the print in the sky.
The photo is sized 2.2 MB, 3300x5080 pixels at 300dpi. This was after a save in photoshop. |
You can do gallery wraps down to about 150-175 ppi. This means (at 175) that your 3300x5080 image could go to 18x22~ish. The thing you have to consider, though, is that a gallery wrap needs some "unwanted" image to go around the wrap. Mpix uses 4" for the wrap, so that will take you back down to close to your original size. You have to plan on having somw waste around the edges of the image that you want to end up with as your final image.
See my discussion of this here: www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstei… Take note of how I faked some stuff where it will be wrapped behind the stretcher anyway.
If you just don't have the image size to play with, you might consider just getting a canvas print this time and planning ahead so you can do a gallery wrap next time. |
If 9/11 wasn't an inside job then why hide evidence? I'm not saying that it was, as I wasn't there and in reality 99.9% of us are speaking from the peanut gallery. It just seems strange that plenty of evidence is kept under lock and key. For example, even though its been about 7 years since the attacks, we still only are given a 5 frame shot of "something" hitting the pentagon. You'd think that the most important national defense building would have dozens if not hundreds of cameras pointed in every which direction. They should release another video that shows without question that it was a plane. Why hide evidence if you're telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth? |

For every conspiracy you hear about, you should apply equal time to the opposing point of view.
In the case of just about every conspiracy theory in modern times, allegations of conspiracy, inside jobs and nefarious deeds can be easily dismissed by applying objective investigative techiniques, circumspection and collectedness. |
